Information on Shipping

Cosmetic Capital offers free freight for orders with the product value over $75. This is standard freight, and is Australia wide (excluding international orders). This means that no matter how large the order is, or how far away you may possibly live (Australia only), freight will be free.

For orders under $75, there is a a $8.95 Flat Rate charge for shipping.

Cosmetic Capital constantly seeks out the best shipping options for delivery. We use Australia Post to provide our customers with great value and service for their deliveries. We reserve the right to change freight providers, or substitute freight providers, from time to time without providing further notice.

All deliveries have a Track & Trace system whereby you can track the status of your order at all times. Signatures will be required, we do not provide Authority to Leave – if this is something you specifically require please email our team at  support@cosmeticcapital.com.au  - We understand that people often work during business hours, and therefore suggest ordering items to your business address if you do not think you will be available to sign for them at a home address throughout the week.

Please note: If you request a Safe Drop for your order, or you request an address change directly with the courier service, Cosmetic Capital can no longer be held liable should your order go missing in transit. Please take this into consideration before going ahead with making any changes directly with the courier service, after your order has been placed.

Please allow seven business days for your order to arrive. We strive to pick, pack and send all orders out in 1-2 business days, however we cannot control the speed of delivery by the courier services. If you live a little farther out, please allow a little bit of extra time.

Cosmetic Capital ships to most postcodes throughout Australia. However, we are unable to ship to some postcodes that are not serviced by our shipping company. This includes certain island postcodes. If you are unsure if your postcode is excluded by our shipping company, please email  support@cosmeticcapital.com.au  to find out.

Express Shipping

Want your order ASAP? Cosmetic Capital offers Express Shipping!

Express Shipping is an expedited service. Your order is prioritised in our warehouse, and then is sent via Express Post with Australia Post.

Express Shipping Orders will be dispatched same day if your order is placed  BEFORE 12pm (Sydney time) . For orders after 12pm, they will be dispatched the following business day.

Orders placed after 12pm on Friday or during the weekend will be dispatched on Monday, or the next business day when there are public holidays.

Important information:

  • For orders under $75 of product value, Express Shipping is $10.95
  • For orders over $75 of product value, Express Shipping is $6.95
  • Orders placed before 12pm (AEST) are guaranteed to be sent on that day for Express Shipping
  • Orders after 12pm will be sent the following business day
  • Express Shipping is not available for very heavy orders. If you are unsure if your order will qualify for Express Shipping due to weights, please email us at  support@cosmeticcapital.com.au  and we will be able to assist.

Please note that Express Shipping is handled directly by Australia Post. Under our  Terms and Conditions , we cannot be held responsible for delays outside of our control in delivery. 

Please check  Australia Post Shipping Estimator here  for estimated delivery times. Use the postcode 2000 for the ‘From’ and your postcode for the ’To’.

As an approximate guideline, express delivery times are: 

  • NSW: 1-2 business days (regularly delivered in 1 business day but this can vary depending on weather and season)
  • Victoria, QLD: 2-4 business days
  • South Australia: 2-5 business days
  • Western Australia: 3-5 business days
  • Northern Territory and Tasmania: 4-5 business days
  • *Very remote areas: Please allow 7 business days

Returns

Your satisfaction is our number one priority. If you change your mind after your purchase, we allow a 30-day  Return policy , to be provided in the form of a store credit to the value of your order. Cosmetic Capital must be notified of a Return and have authorised the Return, for a Return to be deemed valid. Return Shipping is at the expense of the customer. All Return items must be in their original packaging, un-opened, without damage, and therefore in a condition to be re-sold. Any Return that deviates from this definition will not warrant a store credit. Please note returns are subject to a re-stocking fee.

Address changes and lost orders

If you have placed an order and realise you have entered an incorrect address, please contact  support@cosmeticcapital.com.au  immediately to correct the mistake. If your order is sent out with the wrong address, Cosmetic Capital will not be able to provide any assistance in the form of a refund or resend of the original order.

Please note : Cosmetic Capital advises against changing or redirecting the address of an order in transit. If you have placed an order, and while in transit you contact the courier service to either change your address or redirect your order to a new address, Cosmetic Capital cannot be held responsible if this order goes missing or becomes damaged. Please be aware that changes to an order in transit often do cause orders to become missing or damaged.

New Zealand Shipping

Cosmetic Capital offers shipping to New Zealand. This service is carried out by a range of courier services. Please note the following terms apply to International Orders:

  • New Zealand Shipping is FREE for orders over $100 (product value only).
  • New Zealand Shipping is charged at a flat rate of $12.95 for orders under $100 (product value only).
  • Orders are dispatched within 72 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays).
  • New Zealand Shipping to New Zealand takes up to 14 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) from dispatch.
  • Signature on delivery required, which guarantees the safety of your parcel.
  • Unfortunately Dangerous Goods (DG) items cannot be purchased for international orders.

Pre-Ordering an item

Items that are en route to our warehouse will occasionally be offered for pre-order. This allows customers to guarantee purchase of highly sought after items prior to their arrival and before they sell out. Please note that any additional items purchased with pre-ordered items will be held back and only sent as one (1) package  at the estimated time of arrival  of the pre-order item.

For example, a pre-order item may be due to ship in two weeks time and therefore any additional items purchased with this pre-ordered item will be sent together in two weeks time as one (1) package. 

Estimated time of arrival dates on pre-ordered items are only estimates and can be subject to both early arrivals or delivery delays.
